Job Summary
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical components of underground mining equipment, including bolters, drillers, and diesel trucks, while performing new equipment commissioning and training at customer sites. Inspect machinery for faults, adjust systems, replace defective parts, and test repaired equipment to ensure operational performance. Complete accurate time records, technical reports, failure reports, and parts lists while actively participating in continuous improvement initiatives. Build strong relationships with internal and external customers to ensure satisfaction and stay compliant with all safety policies. This role covers the Billings, MT market with approximately 50% travel, requiring a minimum of seven years of industry experience and underground work capability.
