Job Summary
Field Service Technician to troubleshoot and repair VFDs, PLCs, HMIs, motion controllers, AC/DC drives, and other industrial devices at client sites; perform on-site troubleshooting and repair of production machinery; install and start-up industrial control systems; conduct field retrofits and start-up services for large-scale control systems; requires 5-7 years of experience with industrial electronic controls, ability to read electrical schematics, and capability to troubleshoot AC VFDs/DC motor controls and PLCs; must be self-driven, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision; travel to customer sites and operate with company vehicle; strong communication skills and may involve CAD and PLC programming (preferred); company offers OT, PTO, and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years experience troubleshooting industrial electronic controls
- read electrical-electronic schematic diagrams
- troubleshoot, repair, and program AC VFDs and DC motor controls
- troubleshoot PLCs and Servo motion controllers
- excellent verbal and written communication
- possess applicable hand tools
- Electrical/electronic AutoCAD and PLC programming experience (Preferred but not required)
