Job Summary
Field Service Technician responsible for overseeing and maintaining power generation equipment on rental with customers in a designated region. Execute preventative maintenance on industrial natural gas generators at customer locations, including oil changes, spark plug changes, filter changes, valve adjustments, battery checks, radiator washing, and load bank testing. Perform basic repair and maintenance of engine and electrical system components, diagnose 480V electrical output, and troubleshoot generator control panels and regulators. Travel to customer sites in Oklahoma City area, drive company vehicle, and maintain safety and compliance with Baseline standards. Must be able to work on-call, nights, and weekends; possess tools; and communicate professionally with customers while maintaining inventory and supporting regional repairs.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must be able to pass a background and drug screen
- Experienced background or trade school
- Electrical/generator troubleshooting & repair
- Engine overhaul
- Systematic troubleshooting/problem solving skills
- Basic computer skills
- Must have own hand tools (company provides specialty tools)
- Availability to work nights and weekends as needed
