Job Summary
Inspect, perform service, and troubleshoot preventive maintenance, safety checks, corrective actions, upgrades, and refurbishment on forklifts, cranes, loaders, liftgates, hooklifts, skiploaders, and hoists at external or Hiab locations per Manager instructions. Respond to customer queries to maximize satisfaction, recognize sales opportunities, and communicate findings to the District Service Manager. Maintain documentation, submit daily reports, and coach junior colleagues as needed. Requires a valid driver's license, DOT medical card, and 5+ years of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical operations experience. This 100% travel role supports Hiab's smart and sustainable on-road load-handling solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to obtain and maintain a 1-year DOT Medical Card
- Valid Driver's License
- No more than one moving violation in the last year, or two violations within a two year time frame
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical operations
- Appropriate diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Own tools
- Know, understand and comply with Hiab USA, Inc. Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions
- 100% travel
