Field Service Technician

Job Summary
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair Toyota and other makes of lift trucks and heavy-duty material handling equipment. Perform preventative maintenance per manufacture specifications on material handling equipment, stackers, electric tow trucks, and transporters. Safely operate grinders, drill presses, air compressors, and other common hand and power tools in accordance with company safety standards. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all products sold and serviced by Atlas. Maintain personal technician tools and equipment for safe and efficient daily operations. Complete service repair assignments in timely manner. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all safety guidelines. Participate in monthly safety inspections and toolbox talks to promote a safe work environment and ensure compliance with company safety standards and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and ability to maintain a good driving record
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and equipment repair skills
- Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial or automotive equipment
- Knowledge of the use of hand tools and measuring devices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn and participate in ongoing training
- Customer service oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage time and attendance
- Physical ability to stand, bend, crouch, twist, pull, push, and lift up to 80 lbs (20-50 lbs typical)
- Regular travel within an assigned territory as a field technician
