Job Summary
Field Service Technician for generator systems responsible for installation, startup, diagnostics, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, repairs, and on-site service across assigned regions. Requires reading schematics/manuals, preparing quotes, coordinating service dates with lease operators, on-call rotations, and ensuring safety compliance. On-site outdoor work with travel to customer sites; strong mechanical diagnosis, problem-solving, and customer-facing communication skills; valid US driver’s license, drug screening, and clean driving record; able to work in varied outdoor environments and follow safety policies. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team, take direction from supervisors, and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to work legally in the US
- Pass a drug screening
- Clean motor vehicle record
- Demonstrated experience with servicing equipment
- Ability to work outdoors in the elements
- Time management and organizational skills with the ability to work alone
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Read and follow complex directions in manuals and relay information in reports
