Job Summary
Conduct on-site installations, maintenance, and repairs of scientific equipment and systems while diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues to provide timely solutions. Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability, and maintain accurate records of all service activities and client interactions. Provide training and support to clients on proper equipment use, collaborating with the technical support team to resolve complex issues. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology. This permanent, full-time role is based in Kingsgrove, New South Wales, with travel to client sites as required.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in a relevant field such as engineering, technology, or applied sciences
- Proven experience in a field service role, preferably within the science and research industry
- Strong technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Willingness to travel to client sites as required
