Job Summary
Install, service, and repair conveyor belts, motors, and components across aggregate, mining, and industrial sites. Demonstrate proper tool handling and maintain equipment to ensure safety and operational efficiency. Follow instructions from the Crew Lead while completing Conveyor Technician training programs for advancement. Work varied schedules including on-call rotations, dayshifts, nights, and weekends, with overtime available as needed. Obtain applicable underground and surface certifications and travel to multiple job locations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Reliable transportation
- Active Driver's License
- Mechanically inclined
- Regular and punctual attendance
- Ability to travel
- Effective communication
- Ability to work safely and effectively as part of a team or independently
- Ability to obtain all applicable Federal and State underground and surface certifications
- Ability to successfully complete industry approved training courses
- Must be able to work overtime, weekends and holidays
- Must be able to successfully pass a post offer drug test
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Ability to lift moderately heavy objects (up to 100 pounds)
Desired Qualifications
- Millwright experience
- Experience on Industrial jobsites, including Aggregate, Asphalt, Bulk Shipping Terminals, Ready-mix, Quarries and other types of Industrial / Manufacturing plants
- Any construction or millwright type jobs including steel fabrication, welding, proper rigging techniques and any conveyor experience
