Job Summary
Install, service, and repair conveyor belts, motors, and components across mining, aggregate, and bulk material handling sites. Demonstrate safe tool usage, maintain equipment to prevent hazards, and ensure work areas remain clean. Follow instructions under a Crew Lead to avoid delays, complete conveyor technician training for advancement, and comply with all safety policies. Work varied schedules including on-call day and night shifts, weekends, and holidays, with overtime as needed. Obtain applicable underground and surface certifications and travel to industrial jobsites.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Reliable transportation
- Active Driver's License
- Mechanically inclined
- Regular and punctual attendance
- Ability to travel
- Effective communication
- Ability to work safely and effectively as part of a team or independently
- Ability to obtain all applicable Federal and State underground and surface certifications
- Ability to successfully complete industry approved training courses
- Must be able to work overtime, weekends and holidays
- Must be able to successfully pass a post offer drug test
- Must be able to pass a background check
Desired Qualifications
- Millwright experience
- Experience on Industrial jobsites, including Aggregate, Asphalt, Bulk Shipping Terminals, Ready-mix, Quarries and other types of Industrial / Manufacturing plants
- Any construction or millwright type jobs including steel fabrication, welding, proper rigging techniques and any conveyor experience
