Field Service Technician

Job Summary
Provide customer service and technical support to clients across South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia by operating within a team-oriented field service group. Maintain assigned accounts, assist with trial setups for new customers, and respond to issues via phone or service trips. Perform preventative maintenance on level control systems, PLCs, pneumatic pumps, and motors while troubleshooting basic electrical and pneumatic circuits. Manage parts inventory on service vehicles and at customer sites, assist with budget management, and communicate recommendations effectively. Requires five years of technical service experience, a valid driver's license, and ability to travel; includes on-call rotation and physical demands involving lifting up to 50 pounds in varying environmental conditions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of five years of experience in technical service
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to troubleshoot basic electrical and pneumatic systems
- Valid driver's license with good driving record
- Willingness and ability to travel to customer sites throughout South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia
- Ability to function in a very active, fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a field service environment
- Must meet all job-specific education requirements as deemed necessary
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent training
- Experience with preventative maintenance of industrial equipment, including PLCs, pumps, motors, and control systems
