Job Summary
Field Service Technician who provides on-site technical support and customer service, installs, repairs, and maintains equipment at customer locations, diagnoses and troubleshoots issues, performs field testing, creates detailed service reports and recommendations, and collaborates with sales, production, and engineering teams. Requires 5+ years of manufacturing/technical experience, willingness to travel 60–75%, ability to read blueprints/schematics, welding experience (MIG/TIG, stainless preferred), and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs in active industrial environments; emphasis on teamwork, safety, and strong customer relationships.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of manufacturing or technical experience
- Ability to travel 60–75% (multi-day trips, short notice)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Experience with preventative maintenance practices
- Knowledge of overhead cranes, forklifts, and hand tools
- Welding experience (MIG/TIG, stainless preferred)
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Physical & Work Requirements: Lift up to 50 lbs and work in active industrial environments
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
