Job Summary
Conduct preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and system upgrades at customer sites following established standard operating procedures. Assist the Install Department with site planning, jurisdictional compliance, inspections, and system commissioning after construction. Organize and prioritize daily service calls to route work efficiently, while building strong professional relationships with customers through training and support. Monitor inventory levels, complete service reports, and submit expense reports in compliance with company policies. Travel Monday through Friday within a designated radius of 150–250 miles, requiring a valid driver's license and ability to operate power equipment like aerial lifts and concrete saws. Earn approximately $65,000 to $85,000 annually with per diem, company vehicle, and a matching 401K.
Required Qualifications
- Must be available to travel Monday–Friday weekly
- Valid Driver's License
- At least 2+ years of hands-on experience troubleshooting and installing systems
- Ability to lift and maneuver heavy objects as needed & safely climb a ladder up to 30 ft.
- Ability to operate various forms of power equipment such as: aerial lifts, concrete saws, jack hammers, augers, mixers, etc.
- Strong ability to analyze and troubleshoot system issues effectively
- Basic Math Skills
Desired Qualifications
- experience with access control systems and/or fire alarms is a plus
- OSHA certification and/or familiarity with OSHA compliance is strongly preferred
