Job Summary
Field Service Technician responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and supporting fuel storage systems and related equipment at customer sites. Duties include installing and servicing fuel storage tanks, pumps, meters, monitoring systems, and related equipment; performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance; cleaning, repairing, and painting tanks; assisting with tank relocations/upgrades/removals; diagnosing equipment issues, training customers on operation and maintenance, and completing service reports and maintenance documentation. Must operate company CDL vehicles to customer locations, comply with DOT regulations and safety procedures, and represent the company professionally at client sites. Outdoor, travel-heavy role requiring strong mechanical aptitude, problem solving, and customer service skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-B) with Tanker Endorsement or ability to obtain Tanker Endorsement within a specified timeframe
- Acceptable driving record and ability to meet company insurance requirements
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and maintain a valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to workplace safety and safe work practices
