Job Summary
Field Service Technician for Air Compressor Division responsible for shop and field repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting of compressed air systems and components. Duties include mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, reading operational manuals and schematics, performing preventative maintenance, handling after-hours and travel to job sites, documenting work orders, using hand and power tools and electrical meters, and ensuring safety and cleanliness of work areas. Overnight travel and overnight shifts may be required; may perform welding, towing of trailers, or use of pallet jacks as needed. Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs and work in non-climate controlled environments. Requires high school or equivalent education and 5–7 years of related experience; valid Motor Vehicle Record in good standing; experience with listed compressor brands is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- High School or equivalent (GED)
- 5 to 7 years of related work experience or training or equivalent combination of both education and experience
- Motor Vehicle Record must be in good standing and comply with Company policy
- Experience on Ingersoll Rand, Atlas Copco, Quincy, Kaeser, Sullair, Gardner Denver, Kobelco, Boge, Kaishan compressors are a plus
