Job Summary
Field Service Technician role focused on delivering reliable delivery of AgroFresh products and application services in field and packing-house environments. Responsibilities include developing, installing, and maintaining application equipment; resolving technical issues with customer staff; sourcing materials for installations; performing preventive maintenance; monitoring and optimizing fungicide, cleaners, and coatings applications; validating sanitation practices; drafting reports on monitoring programs; training distributor personnel; and supporting sales with BOM costing. Requires mechanical aptitude, PLC programming/troubleshooting, fabrication skills (cutting/welding), and strong communication; travel including occasional overnight is expected.
Required Qualifications
- AA or Technical degree, work experience considered in lieu of degree
- Clean driving record mandatory
- Mechanical aptitude for application equipment installations and repair
