Job Summary
Field Service Technician responsible for developing, building, and installing application equipment; provide field support and maintenance for AgroFresh postharvest solutions in Grand Rapids/Sparta, MI; monitor and optimize fungicide, cleaners, and coatings applications in packing houses; train distributor personnel; assist in development and costing of Bills of Material; perform preventive maintenance and resolve technical issues with equipment; occasional overnight travel required.
Required Qualifications
- AA or Technical degree, work experience considered in lieu of degree
- Mechanical aptitude for application equipment installations and repair
- Fabrication skills, cutting, and welding
- PLC programming and troubleshooting
- Computer literate including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Clean driving record mandatory
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- History of Customer and internal customer focus and success
