Field Service Technician, AgRev - Columbia

Job Summary
Operate and perform repairs to machinery and equipment at customer jobsites or the company shop using appropriate tooling and test equipment. Diagnose problems, evaluate findings, and make independent on-the-job decisions when necessary. Maintain a valid Driver's License, comply with DOT regulations, and keep accurate paperwork including logs. Write service reports, track job time, and charge parts and labor to proper work orders. Own and maintain hand tools while recommending improvements to department procedures. This role requires overtime, overnight travel, and availability for 24-hour, seven-day service support.
Required Qualifications
- Maintains a valid Driver's License in compliance with Company and DOT regulations
- Maintain legally required paperwork including DOT logs
- Experience performing troubleshooting, diagnostics and repairs to agriculture, construction, off-road or heavy equipment or other similar equipment
- Experience using test equipment and tools to analyze, evaluate, locate and repair problems
- Experience with computers, spreadsheets, word processing programs
- May require overtime work or overnight travel to jobsites and be available to provide service to customers on a 24 hour, seven days a week basis
- We maintain a drug-free workplace and perform pre-employment substance abuse testing
