Job Summary
Field Systems Technician at Agrecom performing IPM services across agricultural/commercial/residential settings, including sanitation, water treatment, system installation/maintenance/troubleshooting, chemical handling with regulatory compliance, and client communication; requires driving, travel across CA/CO/IA and other territories, ability to pass background/drug/physical screenings, obtain Pest Control Applicator licensing within 90 days, and potential HAZMAT certification, with emphasis on safety, reliability, and customer service; preferred background in pest management, water treatment, or related field and related certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record
- Ability to pass background, drug, and physical screening requirements
- Ability to obtain Pest Control Applicator licensing within 90 days of hire
- Ability to obtain HAZMAT certification if required
- Willingness to travel throughout California, Colorado, Iowa, and other service territories as needed
- Ability to lift equipment, climb ladders, crawl in confined spaces, wear respiratory protection, and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in pest management or related field
- Technical, vocational, or associate degree in a related field preferred
- Certifications in pest control, HAZMAT, water treatment, safety, maintenance, or related disciplines are a plus
- Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel across service territories in CA, CO, IA, and other states as needed
