Job Summary
Field Service Technician role in Chicago and surrounding suburbs responsible for maintaining and repairing gaming devices, ATMs, amusement equipment, and redemption devices. Responsibilities include responding to service calls, troubleshooting equipment issues, interacting with clerks, restaurant staff, management, and customers, providing exemplary customer service, managing inventory for parts, completing device entry and logs, and performing auditing procedures on slot machines, amusement devices, dispensers, and ATMs. Requires in-person work at client locations (bars, restaurants, gas stations, truck stops, etc.), weekend availability, company-provided vehicle, and a base pay range of $18-$30/hour plus benefits. Training provided for inexperienced candidates; shift differentials for weekends and second/third shifts; must meet age and licensing requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Terminal Handler's License - costs covered by company
- Relevant experience preferred but not required – ATM, amusement, gaming or other electronic / mechanical aptitude (examples – HVAC, low voltage, cable, phone, internet, automotive)
- Ability to communicate effectively & follow written or verbal instruction
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, analytical skills
- Computer literacy helpful but not required
- Minimum of 21 years of age
