Job Summary
Conduct field service tasks, identify technical issues, and perform analysis through remote or on-site activity for certified service categories. Work with customers on-site to identify operational improvements and eliminate pain points while preparing material lists and ensuring parts availability. Execute commissioning/start-up services, troubleshooting/repair services, and preventative maintenance on measurement and analytical equipment. Act as a trainer for field service associates and customers as needed. This hybrid role requires 90% travel with a preferred home location in Pittsburgh, PA, and pays between $68,600 and $109,760 annually.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Technical Degree
- Associate's Degree/High School Diploma with 5+ years of relative experience
- Strong technical background with technical skills in startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, preventive, and unplanned maintenance of analytical products including but not limited to continuous gas analyzers and gas chromatographs
- Ability to build strong customer relationships
- Ability to work effectively with minimum supervision
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills
- Customer service oriented
- Strong Computer skills to include Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Ability and willingness to travel approximately 90% of the time
- Ability and willingness to possess and maintain a valid passport and driver's license
- Work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ Years of experience (when paired with Associate's Degree/High School Diploma)
