Job Summary
Field Technician at Spectrum responsible for installing and repairing services and educating customers on their use. The role is outdoors and field-based, with on-the-job training and a self-progression plan to advance through levels; opportunities include earning industry certifications and potentially moving into leadership roles. Must be able to travel to customer locations, operate hand tools, and manage physical tasks such as lifting and climbing; strong communication and reliability are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED or equivalent work experience
- Valid driver’s license with safe driving record
- Ability to travel to and from customer premises and other locations as necessary
- Fluent in English
- Proficiency in using computers and software applications; competent with hand tools
- Physical ability to walk, lift up to 75 lbs, climb ladders, and work outdoors in various conditions
