Job Summary
Install and repair broadband services, troubleshoot technical issues, and educate customers on product usage while working outdoors in various environments and weather conditions. Carry tools and equipment, climb ladders up to 32 feet, and navigate vehicles across different terrains. Maintain a valid driver's license with a safe driving record and use hand tools proficiently. Travel to assigned customer premises, company facilities, and other locations as necessary, including during inclement weather. Complete on-the-job training and course work to progress through career levels and earn bonuses.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
- Ability to travel (including during inclement weather) to and from assigned customer premises, company facilities and other locations as necessary
- Fluent in English
- Proficiency in using computers and software applications
- Competent in using hand tools
- Valid Driver's license with safe driving record within company standards
- Walk over various terrains and weather conditions while carrying tools and equipment
- Safely use weight-bearing equipment (up to 345 lbs) and lift up to 75 lbs
- Climb ladders up to 32 feet and work in confined spaces and at heights
- Operate and navigate a company vehicle in changing environments
- Work with small components and wires
- Work outdoors for extended periods in any season and inclement weather
