Job Summary
Entry-level Field Technician at Spectrum responsible for installing and repairing services, educating customers, and progressing along our self-progression plan. The role emphasizes outdoor work, problem solving, hands-on use of hand tools, computer/software familiarity, and delivering excellent customer service. Starting pay is $24/hour (with potential to increase through the self-progression program) and a pathway to higher technician levels with annual increases and bonus opportunities. Training provided to support growth and potential certifications related to broadband installation.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
- Schedule: Ability to travel to and from assigned customer premises, company facilities and other locations as necessary
- Language: Fluent in English
- Technical skills: Proficiency in using computers and software applications; competent in using hand tools
- Abilities: Effective communication, professionalism, time management, organization, critical thinking, responsibility and reliability
- Valid Driver’s license with safe driving record within company standards required
- Physical: Ability to walk, lift up to 75 lbs, climb ladders up to 32 feet, work outdoors, etc.
