Job Summary
Field Technician at Spectrum responsible for installing and repairing services in outdoor settings, educating customers on usage, and progressing through a structured career path via a self-progression program. Entry-level role with on-the-job training, opportunities for salary growth from day one, and potential advancement to Field Technician II–IV and leadership roles. Must be able to work outdoors, travel as needed, use hand tools and computers, maintain safety and reliability, and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues. Required Qualifications
- Education: High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
- Valid Driver’s license with safe driving record within company standards required
- Fluent in English
- Proficiency in using computers and software applications
- Competent in using hand tools
- Ability to travel to and from assigned customer premises, company facilities and other locations as necessary
- Walk over various terrains and weather conditions while carrying tools and equipment; lift up to 75 lbs; climb ladders up to 32 feet
- Strong communication, professionalism, time management, organization, critical thinking, responsibility and reliability
