Job Summary
Field Service Technician responsible for performing major component replacements and repairs across the Invenergy fleet, with 4-week intervals away from home and a 1-week break. Travel logistics and hands-on troubleshooting span electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems across multiple equipment platforms. Provides training to site personnel on safety, preventative and reactive maintenance, and operational support. Leads teams to execute component replacements, conducts site inspections, and compiles reports. Writes and revises procedures for component replacements and ensures all activities meet Invenergy safety policies. Requires high school-level technical knowledge, 2 years of technical experience or education related to renewable energy, ability to work outdoors in inclement weather, and a valid driver’s license. Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Two (2) years technical experience and/or technical education related to renewable energy systems
- Experience in multiple platforms strongly preferred
- Ability to effectively use software systems to troubleshoot issues
- Must be able to work outdoors in inclement weather, climb ladders without assistance
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future
