Job Summary
Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a fleet of aerial work platforms, general construction tools, power generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas equipment in remote locations. Diagnose hydraulic and electrical systems while troubleshooting fundamentals to avoid downtime and maintain safety standards. Work flexibly with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment, utilizing mechanic's tools of trade as needed. Valid driver's license and CDL may be required depending on location.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Acceptable driving record
- 21 years of age
- CDL license (in some locations)
Desired Qualifications
- Some trade school or equivalent training
- 3-5 years of mechanic experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment or specialty lines equipment (large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC or Oil & Gas equipment)
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals
- Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals
- Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual (Spanish or Other)
