Job Summary
Field Service Technician responsible for conducting HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry service calls within the Branch territory, explaining repairs to customers in person or over the phone, and maintaining a safe working environment while adhering to client safety standards. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, carpentry knowledge, potential experience with electrical/plumbing/welding, a current license and valid driving record, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting with good computer and communication skills. HVAC credentials and licenses are required if performing HVAC duties. This is an on-site field position serving North America’s WillScot locations.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required
- Carpentry knowledge and experience
- Electrical, plumbing, and welding experience is helpful
- General contractor’s license is preferred
- A current valid license and good driving record required
- Knowledge and experience with HVAC equipment and appliances (if performing HVAC duties); must hold appropriate licenses as required by law
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Some knowledge of computers
- Good communications skills to interact with customers, sales people, contractors, shop personnel and WillScot employees
