Job Summary
Install, calibrate, and repair precision measuring equipment at customer sites while troubleshooting diagnostics and maintaining daily contact with headquarters per standard operating procedures. Train end users on preventive maintenance, complete weekly paperwork including work orders and calibration reports, and email completed assignments within 24-72 hours. Manage parts inventory by charging for parts on work orders and ensuring all calibration standards have up-to-date certificates. Promote customer service agreements and maintain good relations by reporting potential hardware or software issues to management. Perform all duties in accordance with quality management systems to ensure integrity and customer satisfaction. This role includes up to 100% travel within 450 miles, requiring a reliable vehicle and independent accommodation booking.
Required Qualifications
- Must have reliable vehicle
- Valid Driver's License
- Must be a US Person (LPA or US Citizen)
- Education equivalent to four years of college
- Two years' experience
- Must be able to independently secure and utilize business travel accommodations, including rental vehicles
- Must be able to lift, move and carry up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
- Must conform with all compliance issues related to calibration as instructed by management
