Field Service Tech II

Job Summary
Diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems of medium complexity while interpreting technical drawings and schematics for complex repairs. Perform functional tests and adjustments following OEM specifications, prepare parts lists and job plans, and complete detailed inspection reports. Lead or support annual inspections and provide technical support to customers and field teams when required. Maintain cleanliness of work areas and support inventory management and documentation of service activities. Work outdoors in variable conditions including heat, cold, rain, and dust, with approximately 60–75% travel to customer sites and field locations.
Required Qualifications
- Engineering degree in mechanical, electromechanical, industrial maintenance, electronic or mechatronic
- Minimum of 1-3 years of hands-on experience in the industry
- Proficiency in reading technical manuals and schematics
- Familiarity with workshop safety standards and procedures
- Previous experience in a shop or industrial environment
- Must be flexible and available to travel on short notice
- Travel Required: Approximately 60–75%
- Frequent travel to customer sites and field locations is expected
- Includes occasional overnight stays
- Requires use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
