Job Summary
CDL-B Field Service Technician responsible for pumping and cleaning commercial grease traps on local Fraser, MI routes using vacuum equipment. Operates CDL B vacuum trucks and related service equipment, handles hoses and materials safely, communicates professionally with customers, completes service documentation and electronic logs, and adheres to DOT, safety, and environmental standards. Role includes participation in rotating on-call coverage (approx. 5 days per month). Familiarity with fleet technology, routing software, and safety/compliance processes is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class B license
- Tanker endorsement and air brakes required
- Ability to meet DOT medical requirements
- Authorized to work in the United States
- No prior grease trap or vacuum truck experience required — paid training provided.
