Job Summary
Troubleshoot and repair a variety of equipment at various customer locations to bring each unit back to operational and safety standards. Effectively communicate with all involved parties, including Salespeople, Coordinators, Managers, and Customers, about possible downtime and job progress updates. Operate in a safe, efficient manner with minimal supervision to decrease equipment downtime while maintaining safe working standards both on-site and during the operation of company vehicles. This role involves driving a van/truck to and from customer locations, encountering varying weather conditions, and lifting items up to 100 pounds. You must possess a clean driving record, minimum 21 years of age, and a complete line of tools. Required Qualifications
- minimum 1 year of mechanical training/education, and/or experience in a related field
- possessing or ability to obtain a complete line of tools, including specialized tools needed to complete the job at the customer site
- minimum 21 years of age
- clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to lift 50 pounds
- ability to lift items weighing up to 100 pounds
- ability to push/pull up to 100 pounds
- must be able to wear safety glasses and safety shoes
- must be medically capable of performing all aspects of the job with the maximum amount of safety
- (Initial hire requires passing of pre-employment background check, physical abilities test, drug test and driving record)
