Field Service Tech/ Belt Installation - Fabrication

Job Summary
Fabricate, modify, repair, and install lightweight conveyor belts and components to customer specifications, working either in-house or at customer sites. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical issues on conveyor systems while following all safety protocols and OSHA requirements. Maintain inventory accuracy, perform assigned tasks timely, and interact professionally with customers. Take lead on jobs, mentor crew members, and ensure the safety of all personnel. This role involves flexible shift schedules, on-call availability, and overtime or weekend work. Candidates must have three years of belting installation experience, a valid driver's license, and prior forklift or aerial lift operation.
Required Qualifications
- Mechanical Maintenance background
- Stable work history, no more than two jobs within the past three years
- 3 years of Belting Installation / Fabrication experience
- Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair mechanical issues on conveyor systems and related equipment
- Take lead on jobs, mentor crew, and work in a manner that ensures the safety of all crew members
- Basic hand tool familiarity, including knowledge, use, and understanding of a tape measure and units of measurement
- Thorough understanding of OSHA workplace safety and PPE requirements
- Detail oriented and able to write clear and concise reports for customers
- Dependable and able to work flexible shift schedule (on call when necessary)
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record

- Overtime hours and weekend work
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
- Prior experience operating forklifts and Aerial lifts
- Ability to work at heights and tight spaces
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and 75 pounds occasionally
