Job Summary
Lead maintenance and repair activities on Collins Class Submarines, delivering all engineering tasks safely, efficiently, and on schedule. Enforce strict RAN military protocols and workplace safety mandates while acting as the primary escalation point for field issues. Review technical documentation to optimize future maintenance planning and mentor the team through hands-on, on-the-job training. Report operational status, emerging risks, and defects to management, and execute delegated management tasks including resource allocation and customer meetings. Support inventory logistics and drive LEAN continuous improvement initiatives across dedicated customer sites and Royal Australian Navy platforms. This permanent, full-time role is based in Rockingham, WA, requiring an Electronic/Electrical Engineering Diploma, Australian citizenship, and NV1/ITAR clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Electronic/Electrical Engineering Diploma
- electrical trade with relevant experience
- Australian citizenship
- NV1 and ITAR clearance
- Supervision/Leadership experience of maintenance activities in local and remote locations
- 4 + years' experience in fault diagnosis, repair and maintenance of complex equipment and systems
- A proven track record in quality assurance
- Prior to being offered employment, you will need to complete pre-employment police checks
- Defence security clearance
