Job Summary
Monitor and analyze department performance metrics, including utilization, staffing levels, and forecasts. Review P&L reports to identify trends and implement corrective actions while participating in annual business plan development. Lead business direction for the sales team and manage workforce needs through recruiting, hiring, and coaching of technical staff. Enforce safety policies, ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures, and mentor subordinate managers to strengthen leadership capabilities. Collaborate with branch managers and HR to foster continuous improvement and deliver seamless customer solutions. Requires 5+ years of leadership experience in utilities or power systems, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and willingness to travel up to 90% overnight. Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 5+ years of leadership experience in a related industry (e.g., NETA testing, power systems, electrical services)
- Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, and lead technical teams
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong business acumen, including P&L analysis and forecasting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to travel overnight (up to 90%)
- Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening, background check, and physical examination
