Field Service Supervisor

Job Summary
Field Service Supervisor overseeing the machine field service department and supervising field service technicians. Responsible for safety compliance (Safety First, DOT regulations), coordinating and communicating field service processes to customers and internal teams, establishing or adjusting work procedures to meet schedules, maximizing truck utilization, managing work order quality and technician duties, payroll, WIP, and KPI alignment, driving customer satisfaction, maintaining strong customer relationships, reviewing quotes related to work orders and managing profit margins, recruiting and retaining technicians, handling a high volume of service calls, maintaining service trucks and tooling inventories, and supporting on-call duties. Requires strong leadership, scheduling, data reporting, and cross-functional coordination with engineering or service teams; proficient in MS Office and reporting tools and willing to learn CAT DBS, Lotus Notes, SIS.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Five years’ experience in related industry
- Leadership/ Supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to read, comprehend and write routine reports and correspondence
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint; familiarity with Cognos, Crystal Reports, Tableau; ability to learn CAT DBS, Lotus Notes, SIS
