Job Summary
Repair and maintain intermediate diagnostic imaging equipment including DR, CT, and oncology devices while reducing contract dependency through advanced training. Lead Clinical Engineering by assisting field specialists, managing service emergencies, and coordinating parts orders and stakeholder communications. Analyze cost histories to drive expense reduction and support Account Manager coverage for new service opportunities. Requires seven years of medical imaging service experience, a relevant associate degree, and participation in a rotational on-call schedule covering nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering or related field, equivalent military education, graduate of technical program, or equivalent training validated through training certificates or Equivalent experience, upon hire
- A minimum of seven years' experience servicing medical imaging equipment such as General X-Ray (Rad, including but not limited to Rad Rooms, Portables and C-Arms)
- Valid Driver's License
- This position requires participation in a rotational on-call schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Candidates must be available to respond to urgent service needs outside of regular business hours
- Candidates may be required to return to the facility on short notice
