Job Summary
Repair and maintain intermediate diagnostic imaging equipment including DR, basic CT, and oncology systems while reducing contract dependency through advanced training. Lead the Clinical Engineering team by assisting with equipment repairs, managing service emergencies, and communicating with stakeholders. Order parts and supplies, provide Account Manager coverage, identify new service opportunities, and analyze cost histories to drive expense reduction. Stay current on technology, medical advances, and regulatory standards. Requires a seven-year background in medical imaging service and a rotational on-call schedule covering nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering or related field, equivalent military education, graduate of technical program, or equivalent training validated through training certificates or Equivalent experience, upon hire
- A minimum of seven years' experience servicing medical imaging equipment such as General X-Ray (Rad, including but not limited to Rad Rooms, Portables and C-Arms)
- Valid Driver's License
- This position requires participation in a rotational on-call schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Candidates must be available to respond to urgent service needs outside of regular business hours
- Candidates may be required to return to the facility on short notice
