Field Service Specialist

Job Summary

Execute established field service processes for on-site installation, equipment start-up, commissioning, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting across hazardous gas and odor control product lines. Ensure all projects meet customer needs within budget and deadlines while maintaining active contact with departments to support planning objectives. Communicate with customers and team members to build trust and resolve problems efficiently, adhering to safety policies and OSHA guidelines. Track critical information, schedules, and deadlines while providing accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reporting. Travel up to 75% of the time, including across state borders, to perform duties in various industrial environments.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Field Services Specialist and/or Technician
  • Engineering and/or electronics experience, or equivalent work experience, training, or education
  • Valid in-state driver's license
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, including component and material specifications, computer-aided design (CAD) drawings, and specifications
  • Ability to upload/download and make minor field modifications to PLC/HMI programming as needed
  • Working knowledge of business-related software packages, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
  • Considerable knowledge of process instrumentation, including pressure, flow and temperature transmitters, valve actuators, and testing and calibration of these components
  • Considerable knowledge of Field Service management tools and software
  • Considerable knowledge of continuous emissions monitoring equipment for measurement of process source emissions
  • Considerable knowledge of safe handling, storage, and operation of equipment that utilizes hazardous chemicals
  • Considerable knowledge of rotating equipment, including dampers, actuators, controls, and seal air fans
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time, including travel across state borders
  • Compliance with Company attendance standards
