Job Summary
Installs, troubleshoots, assembles, repairs, and maintains tooling and equipment at customer sites, including nuclear reactor components. Conducts routine field tasks such as operating specialized equipment, taking measurements, and compiling data while maintaining maintenance logs and certification documents. Directs technicians through on-the-job training, pre-job briefs, and performance management, ensuring safety and compliance. Requires travel to remote job sites and unescorted nuclear access with flexible hours and shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent education
- Minimum of 4 years of related experience
- Prior experience working in a nuclear environment
- Requires specific technical training and certification
- Requires travel to a variety of remote job sites
- Requires unescorted nuclear access (includes background check, psychological exam, and drug screen)
- Works flexible hours and shifts, as required, to ensure timely service
Desired Qualifications
- Machining and/or welding experience preferred
- Advanced knowledge in a particular field of commonly used equipment, practices and concepts
- Knowledge of company and industry safety and health policies and programs as required for specific roles
- Good communication skills to comprehend, follow direction, policies, procedures and guidelines with ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and management, vendors and customers
