Job Summary
Field Service Representative I responsible for on-site field services related to CCC activated carbon products, equipment, and service offerings. Responsibilities include scheduling and documenting daily on-site activities, carbon adsorption equipment start-up and customer training on operations per O&M manual, carbon adsorption equipment installation/removal, and ongoing maintenance, inspection, repair, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems. The role requires hands-on mechanical aptitude, familiarity with carbon treatment processes, and ability to work in a 9:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule with potential weekend work; involves hybrid work arrangements in the East Bay Area (California) with a focus on customer support and service delivery.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Confined Space Certification (within 3 months of hire)
- Driver's License (Class A preferred)
- HAZWOPER 40-Hour Certification (within 3 months of hire)
- Transportation Worker Identification Credential (within 3 months of hire)
- 2-3 years of mechanical aptitude and understanding of mechanical systems
- Experience in carbon treatment industry or related field preferred
