Field Service Representative - Government & Defense

Job Summary
Provide expert technical service and maintenance support for government contract equipment, including warranty inspections, repairs, and replacements. Conduct monthly cycling and inspections on stored government equipment, perform pre-delivery inspection and service audits, and support service FSI and rework efforts. Interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics while instructing operators and maintainers on equipment operation. Work in a manufacturing environment with occasional outdoor duties, subject to noise and temperature changes. Requires flexible schedule including Friday through Sunday from 6am to 6pm, with 50% travel to government and military locations. Must obtain and maintain a security clearance and a passport.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5-8 years of experience as government contract Field Service Rep or equivalent military maintenance background
- Must be able to obtain a passport
- Interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics
- extensive troubleshooting experience
- Experience instructing/training operators and/or maintainers
- Able to obtain and maintain security clearance
- Must pass any drug screens, background checks, and any pre-employment tests
- Must be able to work flexible schedule, including Friday - Sunday 6am -6pm
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10lbs, frequently and/or move up to 35lbs, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lbs
- Must be able to perform continuous, repetitious physical activities
- Must be able to grasp/pinch small items, reach out and up, and turn wrist
- Must be able to push/pull with reasonable force
- Must be able to perform the following requirements of bending, stooping, climbing, kneeling, and standing for extended periods of time
- Must be able to work in multiple climates including hot/cold temperatures, and dusty environment
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of practical experience instructing the operation and maintenance of Heavy Equipment {HE) and Material Handling Equipment (MHE)
- Experience in Military Environment
