Job Summary
Field Service Representative needed to perform maintenance and repair on military ground vehicles and equipment, diagnose electrical issues in wiring and autonomy systems, read drawings and schematics, and support integration of autonomous vehicle platforms. Responsibilities include preventative and special maintenance, gear/equipment teardown and installation of new systems, parts acquisition to minimize procurement delays, and ensuring safety paperwork and procedures are followed. Candidates should have hands-on experience with automotive systems, ability to operate heavy equipment (tractor trailers, loaders, forklifts, track vehicles), proficiency with tools and diagnostic equipment, and the capacity to travel domestically and internationally as required. The role requires a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and a minimum of 5-7 years related experience, with the ability to obtain a Government Secret Clearance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- certificate from a 2-year technical school or completion of an apprenticeship program leading to Journeyman status or equivalent
- minimum 5-7 years related experience
- ability to obtain and maintain a Government Secret Clearance
- willingness to travel CONUS and OCONUS, 50% - 70% annually
