Job Summary
The Field Service Representative at Econolite provides technical support to sales offices regarding Econolite Control Products. Key responsibilities include advising contractors and agencies, troubleshooting technical issues, assisting sales teams by uncovering customer needs, and demonstrating technical solutions. The role requires a minimum of 5 years in electronics, IMSA certification, and competence in reading engineering documents. Additional skills include computer literacy and the ability to present technical information effectively. Extensive business travel is required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in electronics or comparable work experience
- IMSA Traffic Signal Field Technician certification (IMSA Level 2) within 3 months of hire
- Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics, engineering drawings, and technical documents
- Technical experience in the traffic industry
- Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record
Desired Qualifications
- Proficient in traffic installation at the cabinet level
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions
Additional Requirements
- All candidates subject to background investigation and drug screening
- Must be able to work at busy traffic intersections
