Job Summary
Provide on-site technical support for commercial roofing and building envelope projects, oversee installations, perform inspections, read construction drawings and submittals, identify installation deficiencies and propose corrective actions in real time, train contractors and field teams on proper installation methods and product applications, support warranty inspections and root cause analysis, document site visits and reports using internal systems, and collaborate with architects, engineers, consultants, and internal technical teams to resolve project challenges while partnering with internal sales to support project execution and customer satisfaction. This role requires 5+ years of hands-on experience in commercial roofing/building envelope systems and entails high travel (70–80%) across Texas and Oklahoma, with a high emphasis on on-site or field work and safety compliance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 5+ years of experience in commercial roofing, building envelope systems, or related construction field service role
- Hands-on experience with roofing systems, waterproofing systems, or exterior building materials
- Experience performing job site inspections, installation oversight, or quality control within commercial construction environments
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and submittals
- Working knowledge of commercial construction practices, materials, and job site safety standards
- Experience interacting with contractors, general contractors, and field crews on active job sites
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and field reporting tools
- Ability to travel 70–80% regionally, including multi-day trips as required
