Job Summary
Optimize the Army energy program's metering and control systems while training Energy Specialists and collaborating with Facilities Directors to address mechanical and control issues across installations. Write daily reports on jobsite milestones, perform inspections and testing of utility monitoring systems, and assist engineers in developing cost-effective utility controls designs. Integrate IP infrastructure, points lists, and scaling set points by addressing TCP/IP networks, RS-485 communications, and protocols including BACnet, Lon, and Modbus. Travel up to 25% of the time within the continental U.S. to support national security initiatives and operational environments.
Required Qualifications
- Clearance Required: Secret
- Bachelor's degree
- 12 years of experience
- FSR experience
- Johnson Controls: METASYS
- good knowledge and understanding of Utility Control Systems
- understand electrical and mechanical schematic diagrams, control diagrams, prints, building operations, and have a good understanding of electrical theory
- Good knowledge of ICS, SCADA, BMS, PLC, and Metering systems and how they operate
- Expert level user of Microsoft PowerPoint
- Must be willing to travel up to roughly 10% of the time within the continental U.S. (up to 25%)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with IT/OT in an operational environment
- Experience briefing Sr. Level informational charts
- Experience interacting with Sr. Level leadership teams
