Job Summary
Field Professional responsible for installing, servicing, and troubleshooting smart home technology (security cameras, smart locks, home automation) while also performing consultative on-site sales to upgrade systems. Role combines technical fieldwork with customer education and growth opportunities within Vivint's national organization; requires a valid driver’s license, ability to pass background/licensing checks, and physical capacity to perform installations (lifting, ladders). The job offers a base hourly pay with uncapped commissions, paid training, company vehicle for work, 4/10 schedule (4 days per week with Saturdays), and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- A valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Ability to pass post-offer background investigation and licensing requirements per applicable law
- Ability to lift and carry up to 45 lbs
- Ability to climb ladders up to 14 feet
- Ability to work in physical environments (bending, kneeling, standing)
- Experience in selling or counseling customers is a plus
- Technical aptitude or experience in related installation fields may be helpful
