Field Service Millwright – Turbomachinery & Rotating Equipment

Job Summary
Field Service Millwright to support maintenance, overhaul, installation, inspection, and commissioning of turbomachinery and rotating equipment at customer sites across Texas, Louisiana, and other US locations. Responsibilities include disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble rotating equipment; perform precision measurements and shaft alignments; execute machinery installations; read and interpret OEM manuals, engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation; complete inspection reports and daily field documentation; support outage, turnaround, commissioning, and emergency response projects; maintain tooling, equipment, and work areas in accordance with company standards. Required 3+ years of rotating equipment experience, hands-on work with steam turbines, gas turbines, centrifugal compressors, pumps, gearboxes, or expanders, and exposure to OEMs such as Baker Hughes, Siemens Energy, GE Vernova, Mitsubishi Power, Solar Turbines, Elliott Group, MAN Energy Solutions, Dresser-Rand, or Atlas Copco. Travel willingness to Texas, Louisiana, and the United States; ability to work independently; safety and drug-testing prerequisites including DISA requirements; TWIC card preferred; valid driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of industrial millwright or rotating equipment experience.
- Hands-on experience with steam turbines, gas turbines, centrifugal compressors, pumps, gearboxes, or expanders.
- Exposure to equipment manufactured by OEMs such as Baker Hughes, Siemens Energy, GE Vernova, Mitsubishi Power, Solar Turbines, Elliott Group, MAN Energy Solutions, Dresser-Rand, or Atlas Copco.
- Strong understanding of precision measurement and shaft alignment practices.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- TWIC card preferred; candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a TWIC card if required by customer facilities.
- Valid driver's license.
- DISA drug screening requirements.
- DISA hair follicle testing requirements.
- Must be willing and able to travel extensively throughout Texas, Louisiana, and the United States.
- Must be available for overtime, weekends, holidays, and night shifts when required.
