Job Summary
Field Service Millwright for turbomachinery and rotating equipment requiring disassembly, inspection, repair, reassembly, precision shaft alignment, and installation at customer sites. Travel across Texas, Louisiana, and other locations in the United States. Responsibilities include maintenance, overhaul, installation, commissioning, and outage support for rotating equipment such as steam and gas turbines, centrifugal compressors, pumps, gearboxes, and related components. Must read OEM manuals and drawings, perform mechanical inspections, complete documentation, and work with minimal supervision. Must be willing to travel, possess a valid driver's license, pass DISA drug screening and hair follicle testing, and have experience with equipment from major OEMs like Baker Hughes, Siemens Energy, GE Vernova, Mitsubishi Power, Solar Turbines, Elliott Group, MAN Energy Solutions, Dresser-Rand, and Atlas Copco. TWIC card preferred if required by facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of industrial millwright or rotating equipment experience
- Hands-on experience with steam turbines, gas turbines, centrifugal compressors, pumps, gearboxes, or expanders
- Exposure to equipment manufactured by Baker Hughes, Siemens Energy, GE Vernova, Mitsubishi Power, Solar Turbines, Elliott Group, MAN Energy Solutions, Dresser-Rand, or Atlas Copco
- Strong understanding of precision measurement and shaft alignment practices
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- TWIC card preferred; candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a TWIC card if required by customer facilities
- Valid driver's license
- Travel readiness and willingness to work at customer facilities as project requirements dictate
- Pre-Employment DISA drug screening and hair follicle testing requirements
