Job Summary
Perform field service visits to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial conveyor equipment, utilizing welding skills for fabrication and applying mechanical knowledge to diagnose issues. Conduct regular maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance while operating a company vehicle and collaborating with team members to coordinate service schedules. Communicate effectively with customers to provide quality service across Aggregate, Asphalt, and mining sites, requiring MSHA Surface or Underground Miner Qualification and a valid driver's license. Ability to travel occasionally overnight and work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation to ASGCO
- Regular and punctual attendance
- Ability to travel, occasionally overnight
- Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills
- Must be able to work safely and effectively as part of a team or independently
- Must be able to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed or as schedule requires
- Candidates must pass a background check, drug screen and other job requirements
- Must be able to successfully pass a post offer drug test and background check
- Must be able to work safely and effectively as part of a team or independently
- Can lift up to 100lbs, bending, kneeling, reaching and standing for long periods of time, significant fine finger dexterity
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to obtain all applicable Federal and State underground and surface certifications; successfully complete industry approved training courses
Desired Qualifications
- MSHA Surface and/or Underground Miner Qualification preferred
- Any construction or millwright type jobs including steel fabrication, welding, proper rigging techniques and any conveyor experience is a plus
