Job Summary
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial conveyor and screening equipment at mining, aggregate, and bulk material handling sites. Utilize welding skills for fabrication and repair tasks while applying mechanical knowledge to diagnose and resolve equipment issues. Conduct regular maintenance, operate a company vehicle, and communicate effectively with customers to coordinate service schedules. Perform duties underground and on surface, requiring MSHA certification and the ability to travel occasionally overnight. Work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed, lifting up to 100 pounds in various industrial environments.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation to ASGCO
- Regular and punctual attendance
- Ability to travel, occasionally overnight
- Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills
- Must be able to work safely and effectively as part of a team or independently
- Must be able to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed or as schedule requires
- Candidates must pass a background check, drug screen and other job requirements
- Must be able to successfully pass a post offer drug test and background check
- Must be able to work safely and effectively as part of a team or independently
- Can lift up to 100lbs, bending, kneeling, reaching and standing for long periods of time, significant fine finger dexterity
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to obtain all applicable Federal and State underground and surface certifications; successfully complete industry approved training courses
Desired Qualifications
- MSHA Surface and/or Underground Miner Qualification preferred
- Any construction or millwright type jobs including steel fabrication, welding, proper rigging techniques and any conveyor experience is a plus
